Description
This daily Come Follow Me Book of Mormon study guide was written especially for youth and follows the weekly schedule of Come Follow Me 2024. Each week’s readings are broken down into daily chunks so everything gets read by the end of the week. There is also a daily prompt question based on the reading and on the seminary lesson manual.
An example week includes the following questions:
April 29-May 5
“A Mighty Change”
- Day 1: Mosiah 4:1-8 – What do you think is the difference between receiving and retaining a remission of our sins? Why do you think it is important for us to strive to retain a remission of our sins throughout our lives?
- Day 2: Mosiah 4:11-16 – What are at least three things King Benjamin taught we must do to retain a remission of our sins that stand out most to you? What do you think it would look like for you to apply these invitations from King Benjamin in your life? How could doing these things help you retain a remission of your sins?
- Day 3: Mosiah 4:16-30 – How does sharing with the poor help us retain a remission of our sins? How can you apply Mosiah 4:27 to your efforts to be Christlike?
- Day 4: Mosiah 5:1-5 – When have you, like King Benjamin’s people, had a strong desire to “do good continually”? What helped you feel this way? Why do you think many of us do not feel this way all the time? What do you think you can do to feel this way more often?
- Day 5: Mosiah 5:6-15 – According to King Benjamin, how had the people become children of Christ, or taken upon themselves the name of Jesus Christ? What are some ways you can demonstrate that you have taken upon yourself the name of Christ?
- Day 6: Mosiah 6 – Why do you think it was important to record the names of all the people who had entered into the covenant? Why is it important to you to have your name recorded with the covenant people?
Every week ends with the following questions: What truths did you learn this week? How have these truths
helped your testimony grow?
